This project focused on launching an online store for dental supplies, built on WordPress + WooCommerce to support a growing catalog and a smooth checkout flow. WooCommerce was selected as the core platform because it supports physical products, variations, and scalable store management.
A dental materials business in Alexandria needed a modern store to list products clearly, accept online payments, and manage delivery/shipping rules efficiently while keeping the admin experience simple for daily operations.

The main challenge was organizing a large inventory-like catalog in a way that’s easy to browse (especially on mobile) while keeping checkout friction low. Another challenge was ensuring payments and shipping methods work reliably together and remain easy to adjust as the business expands.
Implemented the store on WordPress with WooCommerce as the eCommerce engine, then configured Astra to ensure WooCommerce elements match the site’s global styling and remain consistent across the shop and product pages. Astra is built to integrate with WooCommerce and automatically adapts WooCommerce components to the theme’s customizer settings.
Configured core store settings, product structure, and checkout flow, then connected payment gateways (via WooCommerce’s gateway system) and set up shipping zones/methods to match the delivery model. WooCommerce supports adding multiple payment gateways through plugins and managing them from the Payments settings.
